And here's what I thought.

Book Ratings

I thought it would be interesting to read the worst-rated book on my want-to-read list, so I sorted my to-be-read list by ratings and scrolled to the bottom. The Jetsetters by Amanda Eyre Ward was the least rated book on the list.

I put this book on my list a long time ago, and never really thought about it again. I had no prior knowledge, and the rating wasn't terrible, a 3.08 on Goodreads.

Was I going to agree with the rating or have an unpopular opinion of the book? When I first started, I was a little unsure, but as I went on, I began to agree with the ratings and other readers. The book falls short. I gave it 2 stars, which I rarely do.

I didn't love the characters, the storyline had a lot going on that never jived together. The premise had a lot of potential, but it never lived up to it as the story went on, leaving me wanting to be done with the book.

Knowing that it was the least rated on my TBR did affect my opinion. I went in with an open mind, knowing that I don't always agree with book ratings and reviews, but the more I got into the book, the more I realized I agreed with the ratings and reviews. Knowing that it was the least rated book on my TBR, may have had a little impact.

It was an experiment in my reading journey; in this case, I agreed with the reviews.
