One of my favorite genres to read is memoirs. I like hearing about someone else's past, and how they made it where they are today, and find myself learning something new along the way.

Each one of these memoirs I have found to be interesting, learned something, and liked reading.

If You Would Have Told Me: A Memoir by John Stamos: This book is one of my all-time favorite memoirs that I couldn't stop listening to. John Stamos reads the Audible version of his memoir and it is truly amazing. You will learn about his career, family, and work ethic. Throughout the book, I found advice and stories I could take something away from.

Bare Bones: I'm Not Lonely If You Are Reading This Book by Bobby Bones: If you listen to The Bobby Bones Show on the radio each morning this is an interesting read with lots of backstory to the radio show and its hosts.

Greenlight by Matthew McConaughey: This wasn't my favorite memoir but I also didn't hate it. Matthew has lived a very adventurous life and the book is nothing short of that.

Spare by Prince Harry: I had mixed feelings about this memoir. There were parts I loved and parts I struggled through. If you are interested in the Royal Family or pop culture it is a good read with stories of the inner workings of the famous family.

Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing: A Memoir by Matthew Perry: The actor has passed away since writing this memoir. The book can be sad at times but he talks openly about his struggles with addiction. It does give an inside look into one of TV's most iconic shows and actors.

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls: This memoir is one of my all-time favorite books. Jeannette recounts her chaotic and nomadic childhood and breaking free.

If you are looking for a new memoir to read each one of these books will bring something different.
