I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

I rarely give below three stars on Good Reads ( some might say I'm too nice when it comes to rating books) but on the flip side I also rarely give books five stars.

I thought it would be fun to put together a list of all of my favorite books that I have given five stars. Some of these books I read years ago but they still left a lasting impression on me while others have become new favorites. I'm excited to share this list with you and hope you enjoy these books as much as I did.

The Truth About Horses by Christy Cashman: In this coming-of-age book you will meet characters you fall in love with and will be rooting for along the way, as they discover their passions.

The Women In Me by Britney Spears: I have read a lot of memoirs but this is one of my favorites. The inside look of Hollywood in the 90s is any Millennial's dream, it also reveals the sad truth about Britney and you find yourself aching for the Pop Princess.

Vacationland by Meg Mitchell Moore: This novel is a perfect summer read. I found myself not being able to stop reading this story. The book is told by two of the main characters and you find yourself eager to see what happens next and how their stories are tied together.

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid: This book is written by one of my favorite authors. With the entire book written as an interview, you will be fully immersed in the story.

Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid: A historical fiction book that you will want more of.

The Hate That U Give by Angie Thomas: A young adult novel that is a powerful quick read.

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks: A classic love story and one of my all-time favorite books.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman: This heartwarming book will give you all the feelings. The way a neighborhood comes together for one man is truly amazing and has you rooting for him all the way through.

Carry On Warrior: Thoughts On Life Unarmed by Glennon Doyle: This memoir is truly amazing and every woman should read it at least once. Glennon is relatable and gives advice along the way.

Untamed by Glennon Doyle: This book is life-changing and a must-read. Jammed full of stories and advice all women can relate to at any stage of life. I still find myself saying the mantras from this book a couple of years after reading it.

Beartown by Fredrik Backman: I loved this book the first in the trilogy and I read it before the others came out, but I always promised myself I would finish the trilogy and it is on my list for this year.

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave: A thriller mystery with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing till the end.

Verity by Colleen Hoover: This creepy thriller mixed in with a love story will have you saying "what?" as you can't put it down.

The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid: The Old Hollywood love story with a modern-day component is a perfect read, especially for the beach.

Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt: I read this book a long time ago but is a beautiful memoir that everyone should read at least once.

The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls: A wonderful memoir about a family and one member's will to break the cycle. You will find yourself looking forward to reading the next chapter.

The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris: A novel based on interviews done with a Holocaust Survivor. This book is written so well and has a moving story.

There is something so special about a favorite book, whether you were wrapped up in a story, couldn't put it down, could relate to the characters, learned something along the way, or it made you fall in love with reading. Each one of these books has done this for me. And every time I start a new book I think will this be my new favorite book.
