Books perfect for spooky season.

It's officially that time of year with Halloween less than a month away and fall in full swing which means you can get cozy reading these thrillers, mysteries, and ghost books. Each book on this list will get you in the mood for Halloween and fall.

Everyone Here Is Lying by Shari Lapena- This thriller mystery will have you guessing. Avery a young girl has gone missing on the same day her dad's mistress ends their affair. While the fingers are pointed in this small town, the question on everyone's mind is can they find the missing girl?

Verity by Colleen Hoover- This book brings twists and turns and gets creepier with every page. A struggling author is asked to finish a well-known author's last book since she is injured and can't finish it. While fulfilling the request to finish the project in Verity's house the dark twists and turns come to life.

Happy Medium by Sarah Adler- This is a fun one and more of a love story than a scary book but one of the main characters does happen to be a ghost. Gretchen Acorn is a con artist posing as a medium and talking to her client's deceased loved ones. When one of Gretchen's clients sends her to her friend's house to rid it of ghosts, to everyone's surprise, Gretchen is the only one who can see and communicate with the ghost haunting the property. Will Gretchen and Everett (the ghost) be able to break the family curse and save the farm?

Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell: This thriller will have you on the edge of your seat. A young girl goes missing and several years later while her family is still recovering from the tragedy they will receive the answers they have been looking for in the most unexpected ways.
